Sean Doyle
Owner & Buyer
Sean Doyle has been the owner since 2011, he has worked in the Horticultural industry where he has developed a flair and great passion for mature trees and shrubs. In 2011 Sean made the decision to open the current ‘Doyle’s Nursery and Garden Centre’ on the former Doyle’s Nurseries site. Having worked alongside his Father John and in the Dutch nursery sector, Sean had gained extensive plant knowledge and was keen to follow in his father’s footsteps. If you do not happen to see our Sean, its most likely rugby season and he is out in full support of Leinster!

She was recruited at great speed and welcomed to the team as a part time team member in Spring 2016. History of Doyles Nursery & Garden Centre
Established in 1963, Doyle’s Nursery was set up by John Doyle Snr. as a specialist rose and tree nursery. After building a reputation for the supply of quality plants to the landscape trade, he went on to win numerous RHS awards of merit for his quality roses.
John Doyle Junior joined the business in the 1980’s and developed the company further by introducing the supply of an additional range of quality plants from Europe. Following the premature death of John Doyle Junior, the nursery closed for a number of years.
John’s only son, Sean Doyle, decided to reopen the nursery in 2011 on the former site and now prides itself on its wide range of plants, providing for only the highest quality, presentation and standard. We are renowned for our friendly and inspirational retail experience.
